What we are
SeniorNet Rotorua is a voluntary training network that supports and motivates people aged over 55 to use computers and other related technology in their everyday lives.
We provide easy and affordable lessons at all levels from February to December each year. We have over 20 different courses which are repeated at regular intervals, so there is opportunity to participate in several each year. New courses are developed and provided as equipment and technology changes. All courses are held during the daytime at Regency Park Estate, 3 Brent Rd., Owhata, Rotorua.
We hold a friendly social meeting on the second Wednesday of each month at which you can get more information, enjoy a visiting speaker or learn about the latest technology.
So come and start learning at any level, from basic computer use, through social media apps, to more advanced keyboard skills as well as the use of Smartphones, iPads and digital cameras. We have our own training room, computers, printers and broadband for internet access. You are encouraged to bring your own devices where appropriate.
We also have regular “drop in” sessions on the first and fourth Friday mornings of each month for computer related or Smartphone problems you may have, so you can get suitable advice from our tutors.
