History

Our official existence began on 26th October 1995 with the registration of a Deed under the Charitable Trusts Act. During 2011 we re-registered as an Incorporated Society and affiliated to the NZ SeniorNet Federation the following year. We are a voluntary organisation funded partly by the Federation, and partly from membership and class fees.

The generosity of our sponsors has made it possible to provide very affordable training courses for our 200+ members Regency Park Estate makes their Community Centre and our downstairs training room available for our meetings. The Lion Foundation has been very generous in providing the computers as well as a hi-tech Kyocera laser printer that makes the task of printing course manuals much easier.
