Don’t be concerned about the content. Primarily it will be about basic computer knowledge and here’s where it gets better. If you wanted to know anything on your computer nowadays, you would probably turn to Google Search and “Google it”.
So we would encourage you to bring along your tablets and/or smartphones and jump onto Google for any answers you aren’t too sure about. How easy is that?
Entry is free and there are also a couple of prizes offering a free ticket to the Senior Net Christmas lunch.
So do come along and get involved in our last monthly forum of the year.
Open Days are held at 2pm on the second Wednesday of every month (except December and January) at Regency Park Community Centre. This is held in the lounge area of the main building. There is no charge except 50c for a cuppa and biscuit if you so wish!
There is usually a guest presenter who may or may not provide a computer related talk. Talks tend to have something of technical interest, but usually wrapped up in personal anecdotes or experiences. No computer literacy is required!
This occasion is ideal for those considering joining or wanting to know which courses they could or should take. We usually have a number of tutors attending so expert advice is readily available.
